It's annoying, and no one cares.
Facebook is not a real person, and it doesnt care whether or not you go to bed.
Obviously, if you're not popping up on someones news feed every minute or so, they're going to assume you arent there because you have something better to do, or you've gone to bed, depending on the time.
Duh.
